Calliope Musicals is quickly becoming a rising star in the Austin Music Scene. Started by Carrie Fussell and Matt Roth, they quickly brought on Josh Brickley, Craig Finkelstein, Andrew Vizzone, and Chris Webb to complete the group. They played last Sunday for KUTX Live Music Series, which will be going on for the next three Sundays at Uncle Billy’s Brewery and Smokehouse with various artists.

Calliope Musicals definitely brings the party, their sound is electric and with hits Like Dancing Shoes and The Adventurers they had the audience completely engaged. Lead singer Carrie Fussell’s voice is nothing short of incredible, and she is definitely honing her craft. We first saw Calliope Musicals play an acoustic set at Utopia fest this year and were completely blown away by this talented group.
